A few of the comments and testimonials written by our guests:
You will enjoy your stay here. The cabins are set in a beautiful environment, and excellently appointed. The delightful touch of chocolate and port for arrival brought a smile to us. Nothing was any trouble to Hege, from where to eat, what to see in the district and what were the birds and plants around the cabin. The cabins are very well situated for day trips toward the Prom, or into the mountains, or trying out the wining and dining along the Prom Coast area. When your busy day is over, the cabin offers peace and quiet and excellent relaxation.

We wanted to thank you so much for providing a beautiful sanctuary for our getaway.
Every detail was considered to make our stay comfortable. Our Golden Retriever also felt very welcomed! We will look forward to our next visit.

“Wonderful little cottage nestled in among the trees. The space itself had everything we needed - we were able to cook ourselves breakfast and dinners comfortably. It was well equipped with entertainment options as well. The bush view from the front porch itself it stunning. The cottage is a 20 minute drive to the entrance of the National Park, which is a comfortable drive to and fro. It is about a 4 minute drive to the town of Foster where there are some lovely cafes, bakeries, a supermarket and other goods. Overall, I highly recommend Chris and Hege's cottage stay, you will be absolutely delighted in their tranquil space. Thank you again Chris and Hege, we hope to be back in the future!”

Hege and Chris are wonderful, friendly hosts, and have three lovely self-contained cabins set in tranquil bush surrounds. The cabins are easy to find and are a a short drive from Foster, and are close to Wilsons Prom, Sandy Point, as well as the Strzeleckis, Port Welshpool and Port Albert. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return some day, Thank-you.

We loved our time at Tindoona Cottages! It felt very peaceful and private, and had everything we needed for a three night self-contained stay. Hege communicated with me before check-in and had the place warm and cosy for our arrival. The location was great, not far to Wilson's Prom or elsewhere in Gippsland.

Beautiful cottages, extremely clean and tidy with beautiful gardens. Hege and Chris were amazing hosts, giving us plenty of info for travelling into Wilson’s Prom. Thank you!
James, February 2020
Wonderful location, very private, lovely village of Foster close by with all necessities. BBQ on the porch was a bonus, very easy to be completely self contained, but wonderful options of cafes and restaurants in Foster and Meeniyan

Thank you so much for a perfect weekend. Your cottage is amazing, we had everything we needed and more, and the fire with firewood did the trick on the cold nights! We very much appreciate the warm welcome and will be back again for sure!

Hege & Chris’ property was beautiful! It was the perfect weekend escape from the city that we were looking for, and they made sure we were equipped for just that. Between the cleanliness of the cottage, the little candles spread throughout the place, and the location of it tucked among the trees and brush, it was a peaceful and quiet spot. Highly recommend staying with Hege & Chris, and their place is only a 25 minute drive to the entrance of Wilson’s Prom National Park! An extremely ideal location, amazing hospitality, and a loving touch to their cottages all led to a great weekend. Thank you, Chris & Hege - we’ll be back!

Beautifully located, quiet and secluded cottages that are just far enough from town. The cottages are fully self contained, exceptionally clean, comfortable and well heated, definitely a must for the cold Prom winds. Our hosts were really good value! Quite knowledgeable of the surrounds, very hospitable but respected our privacy.
We will be back to stay longer next time!

Tindoona Cottage is a wonderful place to stay! Our cottage was cosy, spacious, clean, well equipped and dog friendly too. Hege was very friendly and helpful about nearby attractions to visit. Definitely recommended.

The lovely cottages in a farming area are the nicest place we've stayed in the Foster area in ten years of travelling to the area.

Thank you Hege & Chris,
Just what life ordered a totally beautiful Australian getaway - nothing like this anywhere in the world. You have captured this. We loved sitting on the verandah, with our fur baby Roxy, eating breakfast and playing "name that bird". Everything in your cottage is perfect too.

Thank you for an amazing time. Your attention to detail in the cottages are amazing. We were blown away by the bush setting and how clean everything is, it has been a very memorable getaway

Three nights was not long enough in this magic place. Loved the seclusion, NO traffic noise, the birds. Enjoyed the drive to Tidal River, lunches in Fish Creek and Meenyian, Farmers Markets...
Patricia and John, January 2018
One of the most peaceful and quiet retreats we've ever been. Lovely to wake up every morning with the sound of the birds. A great relaxing time we had here. Thank you Chris and Hege

The cottage was brilliantly set up for a low maintenance week away. The kitchen had all you needed, and Foster township has a great butcher, baker and grocery shops. People at the golf club were lovely and we enjoyed playing there. Waratah Beach is amazing and not too far away. Hege is a lovely host, and the set up of the cottages meant great privacy. A lot of thought and research went into finding somewhere in this area and we were very happy with Tindoona Cottages.
